ASTM E2469 – Standard Test Method for Chloride in Mono- Di- and Tri-ethylene Glycol by Ion Chromatography
1.1Â This test method covers the determination of inorganic chloride (chloride ion) in monoethylene glycol (MEG) diethylene glycol (DEG) and triethylene glycol (TEG).
1.1.1Â This test method is applicable to samples with chloride concentrations up to 1.0âmg/kg by ion chromatography (IC). The limit of detection (LOD) is 0.004 mg/kg and the limit of quantitation is 0.012 mg/kg Cl in MEG using configuration A. The limit of detection (LOD) is 0.002 mg/kg and the limit of quantitation is 0.006 mg/kg Cl in MEG using configuration B.
